Extruded Magnesium Anode Ribbon for Cathodic Protection | ASTM standard produced and tested
The corrosion of metal material in seawater, lakes, or soil can be prevented using electrochemical cathodic protection with magnesium anodes. This method works by connecting the negative current of a metal material or alloy to the protected metal body. As the sacrificial metal dissolves, protective current is transferred to the protected metal body, preventing corrosion. Widely used in shipbuilding, port construction, marine engineering, underground pipelines, petrochemical, power generation, and municipal applications.
